Transparency is the essential prerequisite for ensuring traceability requirements regarding products, processes and suppliers belonging to its value chain.

Environmental Responsibility
RF Roberto Fantoccoli 1975 aims to reduce the environmental impact deriving from its activities by adopting an approach focused on monitoring and continuously improving performance, starting from compliance with current regulations and maintaining constant attention to innovation, research and development.

In particular, with the objective of reducing environmental impact, RF Roberto Fantoccoli 1975 seeks to continuously decrease the release of pollutants into production processes, and therefore into the environment, and ensure compliance with increasingly restrictive limits concerning the presence of hazardous chemical substances for humans and the environment in finished products delivered to customers.
Being fully aware that the implementation of sustainability goals is only possible through collaboration, we constantly seek partnerships with organizations that share the same values regarding environmental protection, people’s wellbeing, and innovation-oriented approaches.

RF Roberto Fantoccoli 1975 has therefore defined the following macro-objectives for reducing environmental impact:

• implement a chemical risk management system aimed at reducing the environmental impact deriving from the use of chemical substances harmful to humans and the environment in production processes and throughout the supply chain, according to the current state of technical knowledge, through the implementation of the ZDHC MRSL;
• ensure constant monitoring and improvement of the quality of wastewater directly and indirectly connected to our production;
• inform and train employees on the sustainability activities carried out by the company through periodic meetings and discussions, in order to stimulate research and innovation;
• pursue legislative compliance by constantly working with partners and suppliers who share the same values and strategic objectives and are capable of responding to the increasingly challenging market demands;
• adopt advanced management techniques and tools aimed at the continuous improvement of sustainability performance;
• periodically share with stakeholders the results achieved and new improvement objectives defined;
• manage waste deriving from production processes correctly and responsibly;
• prioritize district partners in order to minimize environmental impacts related to material transportation throughout the production cycle;
• whenever possible, prioritize raw materials with lower environmental and social impact, such as recycled or regenerated materials, certified, traceable and trackable, organic and/or linked to sustainable initiatives;
• consider the environmental impact of our activities from the very beginning of the collection design phase, according to a sustainable/circular design approach;
• seek and prioritize solutions aimed at reducing waste production and/or increasing reuse and recycling practices;
• limit the purchase of materials originating from activities that use cruel farming or raw material extraction methods;
• limit the impact on forests resulting from the use of components derived from plant-based raw materials connected to: i) illegal deforestation or trade in illegal wood or cellulose; ii) human rights violations in forestry activities; iii) destruction of areas of particular botanical interest; iv) significant conversion of forests into plantations; v) introduzione di OGM nelle attività di silvicoltura; vi) violations of ILO Conventions regarding the rights of workers involved in the related supply chain.

In light of the objectives outlined above, we have decided to focus our efforts on addressing the evaluation and management of risks deriving from the use of chemical products in a systemic manner. For this reason, we have adopted the CHEM 4sustainability® Protocol, which implements the ZDHC MRSL (www.roadmaptozero.com) through a structured method, monitors the supply chain and periodically measures the level of implementation in a transparent manner.

Social Responsibility
In the ethical and social sphere, RF Roberto Fantoccoli 1975 is committed to respecting workers’ rights according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the main conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), as well as national legislation and the conditions established by national collective bargaining agreements regarding:

• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
• Child labor
• Young workers
• Forced labor
• Health and Safety
• Prevention of all forms of discrimination and abuse
• Compliance and transparency in employment contracts, working hours registration and payment of due wages

The company is also committed to favoring collaborative relationships with partners who pursue the same social objectives in compliance with applicable regulations and, where possible, to verifying their correct implementation within partner companies.

The company therefore promotes the dissemination of all the contents of this policy within its organization so that it is known and pursued at every level. At the same time, all necessary tools have been prepared to communicate these objectives to external stakeholders with whom the company interacts , primarily customers and suppliers, as they are directly connected to the manufacturing cycle, but also trade associations, communities and public institutions, in order to increasingly raise awareness regarding sustainability issues.
