Solid Fabrics
RF Roberto Fantoccoli found his strength in his heritage, and this surely include solid fabrics. The decision was to reproduce classics the same way they were originally produced by artisans by re-building on special looms original warps to offer a real traditional collection of basic fabrics able to amaze and surprise even the most demanding clients.
Crepe di chine, double satin, parachute canvas, charmeuse and creponne are just few of the iconic pieces that are part of this project. There is a variety of materials, from more local ones such as silk or viscose and cotton, to wool, linen, and more technical qualities (Polyester and Nylon) or a combination of them.
Jacquards Fabrics
Jacquard drawings are another core piece of RF Roberto Fantoccoli’s selection where research plays a key role. Taking inspiration from historical documents and archive pieces and the close collaboration of artists, weavers and product technicians lead the creation of unique patterns.
Details are the ones that made Roberto’s pieces special, they had something unique that transformed traditions into something different, new, and more appealing and with the support of great professionals the company can work on tailor made pieces for every client.
Accessories
The company is also able to serve the client with the production of luxury accessories. In order to offer a tailored service, they are studied in collaborations with clients, from the very first design to the production technique.
Finishing
The combination between the company’s vision and the capabilities and innovation of the industrial parent company Tintseta, enables the creation of exclusive finishing and yarn combinations, to give new handfeel to existing fabrics. New machineries are used to introduce innovative fabric feelings with a double benefit: present exclusive pieces with no chemicals employed in the process. They’re just mechanical actions able to bring out all the beauty of the yarns.
Natural Dyeing
To keep improving the product quality and to progress on the sustainability path, natural dyeing colours have been tested and introduced in the portfolio five natural shades. The process has been tested and issued by an accredited laboratory, and the main results are satisfying and overcome the GB standard. The colours resulted to be replicable but not to be compared with chemical dyeing replicability. The shade can slightly vary from a dye bath to another since no chemicals are used in the process to control it.
Printed Fabrics
RF Roberto Fantoccoli can offer different printing techniques, from very traditional to more innovative ones.
Rotary and Ink-Jet prints
Rotary print is the more classic method that enables a high degree of discharge print and shiny colours. This type of print allows the production of major quantities in a relative short time and can print with a maximum of 12 colours. Ink-Jet print is more modern and allows to work on a wide range of materials and on an infinity colour options.
Double and Pattern Prints
More recently new technologies empowered the digital printing mill with the introduction of machines for double printing that give exceptional results, an almost identical print front and back. No more discharge print is needed, especially on light to medium weight fabrics. The printing mill recently introduced pattern print, a machinery that allow to print by following a jacquard pattern.
